Why did you join the Navy? Again, to… Ahhhh! …
Good morning, I’m Master Seaman Kettle, I’m posted to HMCS Vancouver, she’s that lovely ship right behind us. And this is the ’60 Second Challenge’. Ok.
- Best thing about being an NCIO (Naval Combat Information Operator)?
I get to travel the world.
- What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love hiking with my lovely girlfriend, who’s right behind the camera.
- Best thing about being in the Navy?
Goes with being an NCIO: I get to travel and see the world.
- If you could have lunch with two people, who would they be?
Jeremy Clarkson and Richard May… Uh! Richard Hammond from Top Gear.
- MCDV or CPF and why?
I’ve only sailed on CPFs, so I have to go with that. Oh, and why? Bigger, better, more intimidating.
- Do you have any nicknames?
Captain FunTime. Don’t ask me where I got my nickname from.
- If you could time travel, when would you go?
That’s a tough one. I would go into the future, in 2100.
- Favorite Star Wars movie?
Ohhh… A New Hope.
- The Navy motto is “Ready, Aye, Ready”, what does that mean to you?
We’re always ready, always ready.
