Welcome back to Defence Team News. I’m Lt(N) Jeff Lura.

And I’m Shelley Van Hoof. Here are the headlines at Defence.

Exercise WING DRAGON recently took place at 22 Wing North Bay.

The domestic training exercise tested the skills of the entire 22 Wing Defence Team through simulated bomb threats, fires, suspicious packages and medical emergencies.

The exercise supports 22 Wing safety objectives and provided an opportunity for command to increase their level of preparedness for potential domestic threats within the wing’s area of operation.

All Canadian Armed Forces bases, wings and defence establishments have an armed response plan designed to deal with emergency situations through well-equipped, specially trained personnel.

That’s it for us, but before we go, Bravo Zulu to the recent graduates of the Royal Military College of Canada’s Class of 2018.

Dignitaries, parents, and visitors attended the Convocation Ceremony, Sunset Ceremony and Commissioning Parade celebrating the hard work and dedication of the prestigious military university’s newest graduates.

Thank you so much for watching. See you next time…
