I’m Master Corporal Darryl McCann with the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service, a branch of the Military Police, and I’m here to do the ‘60 Second Challenge’.
- What would you say your average work day is more like: an episode of Cops, Law & Order, or Brooklyn 99?
Well, right now, we are involved in the ‘Law & Order’ side of business, because I’m an investigator. But on a patrol side, definitely like Cops. And our office some days is like a Brooklyn 99.
- What is your number one work related priority?
Well, the people that come to us that need help is our number one work related priority.
- What’s the best part about working with the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces?
To travel the world, meet new people, and work with people.
- What does serving Canada mean to you?
It means everything.
- What is the best thing about being a member of the Military Police?
There’s lots of avenues in our job, and we can do various jobs throughout the world.
- What’s the coolest training or posting MP can undertake?
Me, personally, I think an embassy is the coolest posting.
- What has been the most rewarding work experience of your career?
Helping everybody.
