If you, or someone you know, is the target of sexual misconduct would you know what to say, where to go and who to call to get help? The just-released Respect in the CAF mobile application provides valuable information for all members and is a support tool for victims and survivors of sexual misconduct that will also be helpful for those who support them.

The app provides information and tools to ensure a timely, sensitive and appropriate response to incidents of sexual misconduct. It can use your device’s geo location to show military and civilian resources in your area and how to access them directly. Use is private and confidential. Users will also find downloadable checklists, infographics, procedures and interactive tools and the entire resource library can be downloaded for use offline.

As part of Operation HONOUR, the app is for use with smart phones and tablets using iOS, Android, Windows phone, and Blackberry platforms. We will build upon this platform to include a wider range of easily accessible resources, tools and information designed to expand and increase awareness, response, support and prevention of sexual misconduct. To download, simply log into your app store, search for the Respect in the CAF app by name and select install.

The app is free and bilingual. Download it today.

For more information about the app visit the Operation HONOUR intranet page.
